Fabinho keen to learn from Jurgen Klopp to secure a role

Brazil international Fabinho has said that he is keen to learn more from manager Jurgen Klopp after an unfavourable start to his Liverpool career. The 24-year-old became the Reds’ first signing for the summer after joining the Reds from AS Monaco and many had expected him to cement a regular role at the heart of the midfield.

However, since the start of the season, Fabinho has generally been warming the substitutes’ bench and he has yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Merseyside giants. Speaking to reporters, Fabinho said that he is doing good in terms of adapting to the English game and he is hoping to leave up to the demands of Jurgen Klopp on the long run.

Liverpool midfielder believes Chelsea may regret Tiemoue Bakayoko exit

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho believes Chelsea may regret the departure of Tiemoue Bakayoko to AC Milan during the recent transfer window. The France international struggled to make much of an impression during his debut season with the Blues last term and this witnessed him join the Rossoneri on a season-long loan this summer with the option to buy.

Speaking to reporters, Fabinho was supportive of his former Monaco teammate and did not feel that the Frenchman underperformed during the previous campaign. He added that the midfielder has the made the right move to head to the Serie A and hopefully, the Blues don’t regret losing him on a permanent basis.

Liverpool have splashed the cash during the 2018 summer transfer window with Jurgen Klopp adding a number of top-class players to his squad. The Reds have rolled the dice and are banking on their new recruits bringing them instant success this season but they must hit the ground running if they are to overthrow City at the top of the Premier League table.

Liverpool were hugely entertaining to watch last season but the Merseyside club could only finish fourth, 25 points behind champions, Manchester City. They netted 84 times and managed to remain unbeaten at Anfield but despite reaching the Champions League final, they ended the campaign trophy-less. Fans are demanding improvement and the board have responded by stumping up the cash to sign Alisson, Fabinho and Naby Keita.
